1. Who We Are

ZendP (“ZendP”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides international money transfer and related services via our website zendp.com (the “Site”) and any connected products (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information. If you have questions, contact us at info@zendp.com.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to personal information we process when you visit the Site, create an account, verify your identity, initiate or receive a transfer, use support, or interact with us in any other way. It does not cover third-party sites and services that are not controlled by ZendP.

3. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: you provide it, we collect it automatically, and we receive it from third parties.

  • Account & Identity Data: name, email, phone number, date of birth, nationality, address, government ID details (e.g., passport/ID number), selfies or images for identity verification (where applicable).
  • Transfer & Transaction Data: sender and recipient details, bank or wallet details, amounts, currencies, exchange rates, reference notes, charges, payment method and status, compliance flags.
  • Financial Data: partial card details or account identifiers (tokenized where possible), issuing bank, and payment confirmations. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Compliance & Risk Data: sanctions screening results, watch-list checks, fraud/risk scoring, dispute information, correspondence necessary for AML/CFT obligations.
  • Support & Communications: messages, call/chat records, feedback, and survey responses.
  • Device & Usage Data (automatic): IP address, device/browser type, language, time zone, cookie identifiers, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, and clickstream data.
  • Cookies & Similar Tech: cookies, local storage, and pixels to keep you signed in, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and improve Services. See “Cookies” below.
  • Third-Party Sources: identity verification providers, payment processors, banks, mobile money operators, fraud-prevention and sanctions screening partners, analytics providers, and public databases.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide Services: create and manage accounts, process and deliver transfers, convert currency, and provide customer support.
  • Verify Identity & Meet Legal Duties: KYC/AML checks, sanctions screening, fraud monitoring, and record-keeping.
  • Improve & Personalize: analyze usage, enhance performance, fix issues, and tailor content.
  • Communicate: send transaction confirmations, security alerts, policy updates, and service announcements.
  • Marketing (optional): send product updates and offers if you opt in (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • Protect: enforce terms, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect our users and our Services.

5. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract: to provide and administer the Services you request.
  • Legal Obligation: to conduct KYC/AML, sanctions screening, reporting, and other compliance.
  • Legitimate Interests: to secure, improve, and promote our Services and prevent fraud (balanced with your rights).
  • Consent: for optional activities like certain marketing or cookies where required.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share it as follows:

  • Service Providers & Partners: cloud hosting, identity verification, sanctions and fraud screening, analytics, customer support, email delivery, and payment processing—under contracts that protect your data.
  • Financial Institutions & Payout Networks: banks, card networks, and mobile wallet operators to process and deliver your transfers.
  • Compliance & Law Enforcement: regulators, authorities, and law enforcement where required by law or to protect rights, users, and the public.
  • Business Transfers: in a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.
  • With Your Direction: when you ask us to share with a third party.

7. International Transfers

Because cross-border transfers are central to our Services, your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) to protect personal information transferred internationally.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes in this Policy, including providing Services, complying with legal/AML record-keeping requirements, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods may vary by jurisdiction and regulation.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical controls designed to safeguard personal information (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring). No system is 100% secure; please use unique, strong passwords and keep your credentials confidential.

10. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal information;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Port your data to another service;
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise rights, contact info@zendp.com. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity and comply with applicable law (e.g., where legal obligations require us to retain certain records).

11. Marketing Preferences

You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. We will still send transactional or service messages (e.g., transfer confirmations, security alerts).

12. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, and analyze usage. You can manage cookies via your browser settings. Some features may not function properly without certain cookies.

13. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

14. Automated Decision-Making

For fraud prevention, sanctions screening, and AML compliance, we may use automated systems to assess risk. You can contact us to request human review where applicable under local law.

15. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals. There is no uniform standard for responding to them, and we do not currently respond to such signals. We continue to review industry and regulatory developments.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting an update on the Site or by other appropriate means. The “last updated” date at the top indicates when the latest changes took effect.
